Spending the Day in Paris. . . . in Las Vegas.

French food is one of my favorites! Its fancy and unique and I love trying items that I’ve never had before. In Las Vegas, Nevada they have a hotel and casino modeled after the Paris. They’ve recently had a new restaurant open there so today we are going to visit a couple places and try them out.

Mon Ami Gabi

Mon Ami Gabi, although not new, is a fan favorite. You always see this place packed and many people on Youtube review it. I had never tried it before so today’s the day!

There was a line and we were told 45 mins to an hour wait, but it was only 20 mins. . . wuhoo!

I requested a table on the patio, which I was told is the best and worth the wait. They walk you through the whole restaurant to get there. Inside looks like an historic French building, it was beautiful.

But the most beautiful and scenic views were on the patio. Directly across the street is the Bellagio, where you can see the water show while you eat.

The food was AMAZING!

I ordered the Corned Beef Hash with poached eggs. This was so good, it was fresh corned beef with roasted potatoes, thick toast, and roasted tomatoes. . . everything I was looking for!!

We also ordered the Goat Cheese and Spinach Omelette with a side of Hash browns. Very delicious, the cheese was thick and flavorful. This was also served with the roasted tomatoes and a few green beans.

You know we couldnt leave without ordering a famous Crepe de Jour. This one was Berry and the whipped topping was the freshest Ive ever tasted!!

This restaurant was so delicious and I cant wait to come back and have it again!!

The total, with tip, came in at around $85. So this is not that cheap of a place to eat. Worth it though!

Vanderpump a’ Paris

Vanderpump a’ Paris just opened up early this year. It is located inside the Paris hotel and casino. Reservations are preferred and easily made through open table. I did see people standing in a walk in line.

This restaurant is very chic, the theme is a raining day in Paris. Its dreary inside and you can see a rainy Paris through the “windows. ‘ Check out this decor!!

Their specialty is fancy drinks. So we dropped in for some drinks and an appetizer.

The menus looked like newsletters and the names were in both French and English. Lots of things to choose from.

Now for the drinks! I ordered the Bon Anni- Versailles (Its my F*cking Birthday). Look how beautiful and its served on a crown tray! I loved it! It was very sweet, kind of tasted like a raspberry dessert and the macaron was delicious.

The next drink was the Le Marg. This drink was strong and contained firewater. . . you could definitely taste the firewater.

We ordered the Caviar Bites. These tasted fine but will pass next time. They were potatoes topped with Creme Fraiche and Caviar. They basically tasted like a french fry with sourcream, I couldnt taste the Caviar it was so small. For $20 Ill pass.

For the 2 drinks and 1 appetizer this ran around $84.

This place was very fun and I cant wait to go back and try more drinks! I hope you all enjoyed trippin with me to the Paris in Las Vegas!
