Valentines Treats
I love making little treats for various holidays and giving to people. I was planning on getting all the ingredients for some fun Valentines Day treats earlier this week but instead couldn’t get to the store til yesterday. . . .lame.
So there I was at 8pm making these cute little things to give to some of my coworkers the next day.
I went to sprouts and luckily they had the stemmed strawberries I wanted. . . last box actually phewww! So then I hopped over to the baking isle to get some chocolate and did they have what I needed. . .NO! But did they have anything I could possible use instead. . .also NO. And did they have marshmallows. . . ummm NO!
So I went to Walgreens and grabbed a pricey bag of chocolate chips, some marshmallows, and went to look for a white chocolate bar to make these chocolate covered strawberries have a little pizzazz. Do you think I found a solid white chocolate bar. . .NO! hahaha so frustrating so I got this guy instead
Now that I had all my ingredients I went home to make all the stuff
Next I melted some chocolate chips in the microwave for 1 min and dipped away!
Looking good so far, so then I dipped the marshmallows
After I refrigerated everything for about 20 mins, I could now add the pizzazz we talked about earlier. Lets melt that precious little unicorn. . .
Hilarious ooooh came out pink Pour into a ziplock baggie make some designs oooh ahhh
Another 10 mins in the fridge and I was ready to package these. Used some cute cupcake liners and some valentines baggies. I actually had these already but you can get them at walmart or the dollar tree.
Came out cute, only took an hour, and was cheaper than buying them already done ๐
