Midway Cafe: Midpoint of Route 66

Making our way back through Texas towards another fun adventure we came upon the midpoint of Route 66.

Route 66 begins in downtown Chicago and ends at the Santa Monica Pier in California. This spot is the point on the road where we are 1139 miles from Los Angeles and 1139 miles from Chicago. It is located in Adrian, Texas right outside of Amarillo, Texas. Super Neat!

The Midpoint cafe is very retro with historic Route 66 theming.

The best part about this cafe were their pies! These were so delicious, they have different pies each day. They even have an Elvis pie that has banana, peanut butter, and chocolate! We ordered a chocolate cream, coconut cream, and to live on the edge; a blueberry banana pie.

Each pie was VERY delicious, the blueberry added a unique flavor to the banana, I may try that at home soon!

This is a definite cant miss if you are ever driving through Texas.
