Low Carb Chicken Wraps
welllll its dinner time again and I’m pretty hungry and I don’t want a salad. I’m not a huge salad fan, mostly cuz I like to eat a lot of food. This wrap is big, like a burrito, and stuffed full of wholesome, tasty, goodness.
During the week I don’t want to be cooking a lot of things from scratch (this really gets in the way of my laying around time) so I went to my fav store, Trader Joe’s, and picked up some already grilled chicken, frozen zucchini and eggplant, and some almond cheese.
Now you gotta know that I love cheese! Since we are at the beginning of the year I am trying to take off that leftover holiday cheer and taking the cheese out for a bit is just something I’ve gotta do. Lets have a quick moment of silence for foregoing cheese.
You can see all my ingredients above. The Tortillas are from Sams and only have 13gms of carbs. Thats really good considering they are burrito size.
Basically, we are going to follow all package instructions and heat everything up, minus the cheese.
Now we can assemble our wrap:
This makes about 6 wraps at about $2 for each wrap. Wuhoo! I paid $10 for a chicken wrap the last time I ordered this out. . . . lame!
