Exploring Lindale Texas
Next up on our RV trip through Texas is Lindale Texas. This is a little town in East Texas where country singer Miranda Lambert is from.
Our hungry tummies brought us to the Texas Music City Grill and Smokehouse. This place did not disappoint. Look at all this Texas music decor!
The ambiance was very festive but the food! Oh man the food was amazing! We ordered a bbq combo plate that was the best bbq Ive ever had and blackened Catfish with fried green tomatoes. I had never had fried green tomatoes and they were amazing!
As an appetizer we tried the ‘Texas Twinkies,’ mostly because the description was so intriguing and different: Jalapenos stuffed with brisket and cheese wrapped in bacon with lemon herb dipping sauce. Wow these were great! I may have to attempt to make them at home!
The absolutely BEST thing at this place is their cornbread!! I could have just ordered plates of this and be satisfied, it was THAT good!
Attached to this great restaurant is the Pink Pistol. The Pink Pistol is owned by the country singer Miranda Lambert. When they say Pink they mean Pink, I was in heaven here.
There was a little bar inside where they host live music. Super cute! Since it was in the middle of the day there wasn’t a lot going on so we didn’t sit down for a drink.
They had soaps, fragrances, and a coffee bar too!
This store was so fun, it was hard to pull myself away!
As we walked out there was a little street market/wine festival going on outside so we took a stroll to see what we found.
Such cute stuff! We got ourselves some Mayhaw Jelly. . this stuff is delicious, we cant get enough. The man selling it said that most his Mayhaw crop was ruined in the freeze this year. We were lucky to get a jar!
Phewww what a day. . this little town is so nice and the people are great! We had a wonderful day!
