Trader Joe’s Vegan/Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies Worth the Buy?

For the past several years I have tried a TON of gluten free/dairy free cookie recipes trying to find the closest thing to a nice baked chocolate chip cookie. I’ve used a different array of alternatives to flour, dairy, sugar etc. They have all come out OK, but nothing to the extend of these babies right here!

I ran across this baking mix at my local Trader Joe’s for $4.99. $4.99!!! That’s definitely cheaper than buying all the crazy ingredients to get cookies tasting the way this mix tastes!

Take a look at the nutrition facts, super low everything!

You will need butter or oil, vanilla extract, and dairy or non dairy milk. I used Sunflower Oil and Soymilk to make these dairy free.

This is what the package looks like when you take it out of the box. . . . nice and soft and smells soooo good when you open it.

So I followed all the directions and put small spoonfuls on a pan. Was super easy and it felt like I was making regular chocolate chip cookies

Popped those delicious looking morsels in the oven for about 10 mins. They made the house smell like my childhood and came out perfect!

Don’t be jealous of my culinary skills 😉

And thats it! For 5 bucks you get a dozen of gluten, dairy free, hot out of the oven chocolate chip cookies that come out perfect! And let me tell you these taste so good that they are even husband approved (and thats saying somethin)!

We snacked on these on our latest RV trip… . .check it out here https://trippinwithjane.com/rv-trippin-to-las-vegas-nm/
