New Tesla Service Center, Santa Fe NM

Living in New Mexico and owning a Tesla was a little scary at first because our state did not have a service center. I bought my Tesla Model 3 in 2019 and it hasnt been until now in 2022 that they built a Tesla service center.

Luckily I haven’t needed anything major to be fixed in the last 3 years. Its been very convenient to place a service request through the app and the Tesla mobile unit comes to your door.

This time the mobile unit said that my trunk latch needed to be taken to the new service center instead. I was scheduled through my Tesla mobile app and had an appointment about a week out. Leading up to the appointment I received various reminders and priced details through the app about my upcoming appointment.

Tesla Service Center

The Tesla Service Center in Santa Fe is not very big and nestled right next to a gas station in Nambe Falls. A little further down the road is a popular casino called Buffalo Thunder.

I was the only one there when I arrived and the check in process was done in seconds

While they took my car back I enjoyed the cars on display and the different things they sale; solar roof, powerwalls, chargers etc.

and I couldnt pass up a delicious Espresso 😀

The one thing I took away from this experience is that the area where they were working on my car, which I was unable to get a picture of, was the most quiet and clean area I’ve ever seen at a car maintenance facility. There was no oil and no loud sounds of any kind going on. So neat!!

Old Town Santa Fe

They said the car would take a couple hours so I went exploring. Old Town Santa Fe is so beautiful in the winter.

I found a cozy little place for breakfast called the Plaza Cafe. This was 1960s retro and I LOVED it!!

The breakfast was sooo good too. They had a unique Santa Fe style variety.

We ordered The Traditional with bacon, Huevos Rancheros w/a side of sausage. This food was very high quality and they weren’t lying when they described the bacon and sausage as “premium.” The tortillas were homemade as well. I will definitely eat here again!

Having a Tesla service center nearby is definitely a plus as an owner. Even though it is a little bit of a drive from where I live, I always enjoy making it a fun adventure to explore places Ive never been. Santa Fe is a wonderful place to sight see and take in the historical sights. Hope you enjoyed trippin with me.
