Dallas World Aquarium

During my trip to Texas I visited the Dallas World Aquarium. This place is pretty large considering it is in the middle of downtown. Lots of unique animals, it was a wonderful pit stop.

The aquarium is in levels and you begin at the very top level and make your way to the bottom.

It was cold outside but the rainforest temperature was perfect. The colorful fish and birds were beautiful to see.

I think the penguins were my favorite. Their habitat was surprisingly very clean.

In one area they had huge tanks dedicated to different island life.

As you reach the bottom, the decor is Mayan architecture style. It was a unique housing for the animals.

There were some food options inside also: A jungle Cafe at the very top and a nicer, sit down restaurant at the bottom called Cafe Maya. These were not open at the early hour that I was there.

I had fun strolling through this aquarium, hope you did too! At about $30 per adult, it was a nice time. See you on the next trip.
